Producer Kumar Taurani’s mega ambitious thriller, Prince will now release on the 9th of April. The Vivek Oberoi starrer; that was earlier scheduled to release on the 26th of March is now pushed since the post production and the VFX of certain high voltage action scenes is taking time.

“Prince is a huge project, with some out of the world action sequences and visual effects. Hence, we are leaving no stone unturned. The VFX of Prince are done by the best VFX studio in the business; we are just reworking on a few scenes, which has resulted in the delay.” Said Kumar Taurani, MD, Tips Industries and Producer of Prince.

Prince is the story of a thief who wakes up one morning only to realize that he has lost his memory and his life is at stake. The movie is directed by Kookie V Gulati and stars Vivek Oberoi alongside Nandana Sen, Aruna Shields and Neeru Singh.

Prince charmed all at the music release of his film!

When Producer Mr Kumar Taurani announced the music launch function of his upcoming film Prince starring Vivek Oberoi he promised a surprise. And surprise it was when what looked like normal shoppers at a mall suddenly took to coordinated dance steps and shook the 2 malls in Mumbai. But the most special surprise of the event was Vivek Oberoi’s jig at the end that left a big smile on everyone’s face long after the dust had settled down. The concept of a ‘Flash Mob’ was successfully executed to the delight of the ordinary shoppers at both the Phoenix Mills and the Oberoi Mall in Mumbai.

The day started on an unusual note when Vivek led a Flash Mob to perform a dance to the song ‘O Mere Khuda’, the first song from his upcoming film. Fans, who had been told via networking sites to expect something special were ready with their camera phones. They had to record and upload the videos and the lucky winner would be given the jacket worn by Prince, played by Vivek Oberoi.

The celebrations begun at the Phoenix Mills and went on to the Oberoi Mall where Vivek’s entry was even more special – for he came to the central area on his brand new Ducati bike that drove girls and boys berserk! The fans insisted on getting themselves clicked with him on his bike but only one lucky kid got to actually ride the bike. Post the dance jig Vivek took the podium and thanked his fans for being their in such large numbers.

The music of the film Prince was then officially launched by the Producers, Mr Kumar Taurani along with his wife Mrs Renu Taurani. Debutant director Kookie Gulati and music director Sachin Gupta were introduced to the press for the first time. After fielding questions from the media the action shifted to the Fashion Partner – Provogue’s store, where Vivek interacted with fans and signed autographs.

Prince releases in theatres on 26th March and the music is out now on Tips Music.

Kumar Taurani organized a special preview event for the fans of his upcoming film Prince- Its showtime, on 2nd of November at a preview theatre in Bandra. The eve received an overwhelming response and was attended by over 250 people.  The  audience  was a mix blend of crowd that included teenagers, young professionals, media students, middle aged men and women, homemakers and of course, kids.

The event was held for fans who registered via Facebook. The fans had registered to critique the promo and parts of the upcoming film Prince – its Showtime. The audience got a chance to watch the theatrical trailer of this slick action thriller and at the end of it they were asked to fill up a questionnaire in order to give their feedback.

The feedback received from the people was positive yet diverse. The teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the action filled promo, which, according to them, had a Hollywood feel to it. They also liked Vivek Oberoi’s new look. Surprisingly even the middle aged women appreciated the promo a lot and told the crew that they had never seen something like this in any Bollywood movie till date. The tremendous response has led to Kumar Taurani releasing the first look poster of the movie also on Facebook before it releases anywhere else. Which in itself is a first of its kind attempt.

At the end of the event, each of the guests were presented with audio CDs of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, another Tips Industries film as a token of appreciation for their precious time. Kumar Taurani, the producer of the film, whose idea it was, to open his film to creative criticism from a real and live audience, said, “The event proved to be very fruitful. I would like to thank our audiences for their support. It was heartwarming to see such a wonderful and welcoming response from the select audience. In fact the response has been so  that I am releasing the first look of the movie also on Facebook before anywhere else. Now I await the response of the general audience to the theatrical trailer of Prince- Its Showtime that hits the theatres this Friday!”

Ram Gopal Varma’s highly ambitious two part trilingual film Raktacharitra will have no other but politician superstar Shatrughan Sinha, essay the pivotal role which is based on the legendary superstar politician N.T Rama Rao. This would be the first time in cinematic history of the world that a politician would have essayed the role of another politician. However the biggest shocking surprise for the audience will be that for the first time in his thirty six year old career Shatrughan Sinha will be seen without his moustache. However it was not easy for him to make up his mind as many of his family members, friends and associates were dead against him doing that but sheerly going by his own conviction and the way he saw the role Shatrughan sinha decided on a completely fresh look such as none of his audience had ever seen him.

Ironically Vivek Oberoi, in the same film is sporting a moustache for the first time in his career in the exact reversal of Shatrughan Sinha not having a moustache for the first time in his career.
