“Dancing is my first love and that’s not just something I enjoy. But it also works like a stress buster for me. However ironically or unfortunately I have never got a chance to dance in any of my movies so far. In fact, I’d love to do a nice item number if an opportunity comes my way.” Says the talented actress.

Inspite of the victory over the issue, lyricist-singer-composer IshQ Bector isn’t quite happy. “The Censor Board is a whimsical body with outdated minds” he fumes, and adds, “They pass an entire film called ‘Kaminey’ and clear a hundred-and-fifty dialogues with the word. But when it comes to my lyrics, they throw a tantrum.”

“This is not the first time the Censor Board has shown this sort of silly bias, reflecting double standards. They did it with my video of ‘Aye Hip Hopper’ too. They suggest frivolous cuts almost every time I send a video for clearance. In the past too, many producers have been victims of their arbitrary diktats. Justice has prevailed this time, but I will not hesitate to take legal action again, if they unnecessarily trouble me in future,” he threatens.

Mandira Bedi, the glamorous face of Indian cricket is all set to do a unique double. Mandira would present the matches live to the UK viewers and also be seen on MAX in a different capacity, the official channel for IPL in India.

Says a visibly elated Mandira, “it is difficult to stay away from IPL.The love and affection you receive from the millions is beyond anybody’s imagination. And this time it is a double whammy for me. Not only will I stay connected to my audience on MAX through IPL specials, but also I will be presenting the matches live to over 20 million viewers on ITV”.

ITV, the oldest television network in the United Kingdom, has been awarded the exclusive broadcasting rights for DLF-IPL III on its free-to-air service. UK is the biggest market for cricket outside India and the IPLs is making a concerted effort to reach them through ITV. Interestingly, it is for the first time since 1970s that ITV will show live cricket.

“Presenting cricket to the British – the Mecca of cricket, is something special. Hopefully, I will also be able to contribute in creating a better understanding about India, our people and ofcourse our love for cricket.” said Mandira.

Producer Kumar Taurani’s mega ambitious thriller, Prince will now release on the 9th of April. The Vivek Oberoi starrer; that was earlier scheduled to release on the 26th of March is now pushed since the post production and the VFX of certain high voltage action scenes is taking time.

“Prince is a huge project, with some out of the world action sequences and visual effects. Hence, we are leaving no stone unturned. The VFX of Prince are done by the best VFX studio in the business; we are just reworking on a few scenes, which has resulted in the delay.” Said Kumar Taurani, MD, Tips Industries and Producer of Prince.

Prince is the story of a thief who wakes up one morning only to realize that he has lost his memory and his life is at stake. The movie is directed by Kookie V Gulati and stars Vivek Oberoi alongside Nandana Sen, Aruna Shields and Neeru Singh.

Directed by Aditya Chopra and starring the quintessential pair of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, the movie opened to full houses and rave reviews all over the world way back on 20th October 1995

When Producer Mr Kumar Taurani announced the music launch function of his upcoming film Prince starring Vivek Oberoi he promised a surprise. And surprise it was when what looked like normal shoppers at a mall suddenly took to coordinated dance steps and shook the 2 malls in Mumbai. But the most special surprise of the event was Vivek Oberoi’s jig at the end that left a big smile on everyone’s face long after the dust had settled down. The concept of a ‘Flash Mob’ was successfully executed to the delight of the ordinary shoppers at both the Phoenix Mills and the Oberoi Mall in Mumbai.

The day started on an unusual note when Vivek led a Flash Mob to perform a dance to the song ‘O Mere Khuda’, the first song from his upcoming film. Fans, who had been told via networking sites to expect something special were ready with their camera phones. They had to record and upload the videos and the lucky winner would be given the jacket worn by Prince, played by Vivek Oberoi.

The celebrations begun at the Phoenix Mills and went on to the Oberoi Mall where Vivek’s entry was even more special – for he came to the central area on his brand new Ducati bike that drove girls and boys berserk! The fans insisted on getting themselves clicked with him on his bike but only one lucky kid got to actually ride the bike. Post the dance jig Vivek took the podium and thanked his fans for being their in such large numbers.

The music of the film Prince was then officially launched by the Producers, Mr Kumar Taurani along with his wife Mrs Renu Taurani. Debutant director Kookie Gulati and music director Sachin Gupta were introduced to the press for the first time. After fielding questions from the media the action shifted to the Fashion Partner – Provogue’s store, where Vivek interacted with fans and signed autographs.

Prince releases in theatres on 26th March and the music is out now on Tips Music.

Raaj the Hailing from Asam, Raaj had never thought that one day he would share the same platform with his mentor.
On 18th Feb 2010 the day was more than just dreams when Raaj who has earlier given vocals to super hit numbers Ajnabi Khwab Mein from the film Superstar and Yeh Jism Jo from Acid Factory would match his tunes with his mentor composer Shamir Tandon.

Both the films bombed at the box office but Raaj has gained a lot not only in terms of experience but also is gaining popularity for his exceptional singing ability.

The credit for discovering such a talented voice goes to Shamir who wants the world to hear this magnificent voice and what better way to promote this talent in his own films.

Shamir has now made this boy do wonders for his forthcoming film Click. Rubayee is definitely a song to watch out for!

On his son’s request, he invited 20 children from his son’s school i.e American School to visit the sets of his upcoming comedy “No Problem” at prism plaza on the 21st Nov.

Says our source from the sets that the children were warmly welcomed and were given a tour of the sets. They also got a chance to see a shoot firsthand and also enjoyed watching it replay on the monitor along with director Anees Bazmee.

They also had lunch on the sets and after spending some enjoyable time with Suniel Shetty, the actor willingly obliged for pics with the excited kids!

The icing on the cake was when all of the kids got to see the guns that were being used for the action scene!

After the excitement of being a part of a real film shoot, the kids were in high spirits when they left the sets!
